LJ you're annoying me with the paragraph formatting. If I don't insert a line between paragraphs there's none, but if I do insert a line break, the paragraph adds a space at the end of it, so it's either wide gaps or none.

I've phoned to get my 2 knee control machines collected for servicing.   My manky right foot is whining after less than 4 hours stitching on my foot-pedal Janome.  botheration.  I'd hoped that as it had been fine for a couple of years that it would cope with the re-introduction of the pedal, but nope.

Tomorrow I'm going to wear it to work, hurrah. I've realised that I need more tops to go with it.  The knit top I'm going to wear is a bit blingy, but tough. It goes with and it fits and is not the one in the pics.

Recent photos are reminding me that I've gained weight since I broke that teency bone in my foot just over 18 months ago.  Thanks to the knee control, sewing doesn't make the foot whinge perpetually (muscle sheath problem as a result of broken bone).

So walking, which I enjoy and is my old standby exercise, is a no go zone.  It makes The Foot manky ( Read more... )

I'm feeling pretty bouncy. I spent most of Saturday sewing, and half of Sunday and my manky foot is no mankier than usual. Hurrah, cos previously even a teency amount of sewing would have it whinging for two weeks minimum. Baby was worth every cent.

I ended going out to sewing machine man on Sunday morning, cos when I phoned him on Friday he asked for more time to go to 'the other place' to get the knee control machines. His small shop was wall to wall stashed machines n parts n stuff ( Read more... )

I managed to sneak a trip to Fine Wools Direct on Saturday morning. There is a very good reason I try to stay away … stash control.
